OH dear I didn't know that they grew that large!! I shall have to be very careful where I grow it, its in large container at the moment!!?

You could probably keep it to the size you want Angela I found that chopping off the lower stems near the ground didn't harm it ,it might also depend on the soil type as to how large it gets ours is slightly acidic 6-7 PH

I think it might they are quite tough , they obviously seed themselves as I have them growing in all sorts of odd places , I love them and was surprised at the size and height of some growing outside a seaside railway station on the coast they must have been 10ft tall and almost as wide , mine are getting that way I had to chop some stems off as they were smothering smaller plants next to them ..
