Im thinking of purchasing some Lonicera japonica 'Halls Prolific' or similar can you tell me whether these need a lot of support as Im thinking of having growing round a pergola, so maybe if I added some more grips like chicken wire round it, what would you suggest?

I only know that when they are climbing they are not flowering. The flowers come from the part of the plant that has nothing to hold on to.
