Lythrum salicaria 'Firecandle'

This is a named form of our native purple loosestrife. Although it grows beside water in the wild, it is quite tolerant in the garden as long as the soil doesn't dry out and will take part shade as well as full sun. 'Firecandle' (also listed as 'Feuerkerze') reaches three feet
