Apples are malus domestica so it is the same family. This one has a very slight weeping habit with the lowest branches about six feet up the trunk

Brilliant floribunda. must learn more about it as I have never seen it before. The flower looks like an apple blossom,but with long leaves, and is that really what it grows from, that short thick trunk?excuse me while I look it up.
