Monstera misses his shady friend.

It appears there was a tree sized Juniper that once gave a shade making shelter for this Monstera vine. The owners seem to have hit a quandry...take down the whole plant and have nothing for vine to climb..or leave a big stump?..I could tell them my advice would be to take out the rest of the Juniper..its only going to fall over one year. Not many years either.
