to start avacado, buy an avacado.
take the pit and let it dry out until the middle splits
peel the skin, leave the pit(tan color)
have the round bottom facing down(point part straight up)
put a tooth pick(or wooden skewers) on each side , but in the middle( but closer to the top)
place in a ceramic teacup/coffee mug with water.
It takes a about a month or so for the roots to appear.
