21.3.10 I bought two packs of bare rooted phlox and a pack of Heuchera "Caramel" in Costco. It said to plant ASAP but not until after the frosts so I decided to pot them up as they were starting to show signs of growing. I have them in an unheated green house. I cover them with an old shower curtain at night to hopefully keep off any frost.

Good luck to them. The soil itself will keep them safe, but early sprouts will benefit from the cover.
