Pileostegia viburnoides (close-up) - 2019 (Pileostegia viburnoides)

Closely related to hydrangeas, this climber needs a position in full or part shade, eventually reaching twenty feet. It grows in rich, reliably moist soil and will only attach to a wall or fence, in the same way as ivy, if well fed and growing strongly
