I think the rosea name comes from these developing buds, which I've never noticed before. The flowers are an acid green colour. The plant is a succulent.

SBG, there is a pic in my linked File of it in flower 21April 2019.
To be honest I thought I had lost it as there was nothing showing until recently and I thought it remained evergreen last year. I did take a cutting last year and kept it in the conservatory, but it's died. I've just re researched it, comes from Arctic regions so I probably got it too hot?
