Romneya coulteri

This has done really well since the neighbours removed a hedge that was shading it. It likes a sheltered, sunny position in well-drained soil (although I have it on clay). It suckers freely, especially on lighter soils, so be careful where you plant it. A friend who planted it against his house wall found it coming up in the living room - you have been warned!
Typically four feet tall but may reach double this. May prove difficult to establish and will not move
