Beware - this one suckers! Even on heavy clay, I'm getting shoots three feet away from where it was planted.

I do love this plant.......very tempted to try it Andrew,we have the Rubus Cockburnianus aurea, and find it difficult to get more than two shoots from it!!

DD - I grew this quite happily for ten years, then it started to sucker all over the place. It might start sooner on lighter soils.
