Cherokee Purple Tomato

Here I was expecting a "purple" tomato, I watched and waited for them to ripen and darken. Then I did some reading and I found out that in heirloom tomatoes, "purple" means a dark rose color. And this variety has green shoulders. Suddenly I realized that I had a whole bunch of really ripe tomatoes waiting for me!
