Vestia foetida

By Siris

Vestia foetida (Vestia foetida)

An evergreen shrub with these pretty Fuchsia-like yellow flowers flowering now. Growing through my large purple leaved Cotinus, which is still not in leaf. From seed

Whoops, this pic has become duplicated.
Homebird, yes it's supposed to have smelly leaves if bruised, but I've not noticed. Iris foetidissima is said to have odorous leaves, but can't detect any.
Now Dracunculus vulgaris has the most smelly spathes when ripe, so much so I put a poly bag over them.
