Hi, I need to move two hydrangeas, Vanille Fraise and Quadricolour. They have been in the ground for just a year or two. When can I do it? Thanks:-)

Isn't it autumn now? I thought that if I moved them early they would have time to settle before winter? What month will you move yours?:-)

As you were replying I was editing my answer. Probably early to mid October. Depends on how long it flowers I suppose. I have it in a very big pot and want to put it in the garden.

I think that I,d wait until it dropped its leaves then it won't have to try to support them as well as put down new roots

I want to move one of mine too but I am going to wait till the autumn . Yes , autumn is just beginning now but another month or so maybe. Mine is still in flower so when it is finished I will move it.
