Rhododendrons - Albert Einstein & Marqueta

Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom

Bought last year flowered, grew well. This year no blooms.
Why is that? They are in a partial shady position, our soil here is free draining, on the sandy side and they have been fertilised with the appropriate fertiliser.

I have a dwarf Rhodo that flowered very poorly last year, the flowers are initiated the year before so it depended on the weather. Your plant is still settling in, hopefully it will be better next year. Continue to keep it well watered, with rainwater if possible.
