How tall will my Acer grow

The tree in question an Acer which is about 10' tall and positioned next to a garden shed. I'm concerned that in few years time it will outgrow its space and will need to be cut down.

Can't answer you because I don't know which Acer it is - some get 25-50 feet high, some take years to reach 10 feet. Any idea which one? Photo? How long did it take to get to the size it is now?
