Is itthe right time to transplant fruit bushes? If yes, I have some to give away to anyone in the Melton Mowbray area, must be collected. I have the following: gooseberry x 2, blackcurrant, red currant and white currant, 1 of each. Thanks.

Not strictly the right time, autumn's the best, when weather is still warm but there's more rain. Having said that we're not far off ~ you'd just need to make sure they're kept well watered! No reason not to give them away :)
