Just done that today for the first time with some Sempervivums Gralew. Time/trouble/money but well worth the cameraderie involved

yes its a private arrangement. you pm them asking nicely if they have any spares then if they have and want to share, you exchange addresses. some ask for ostage others dont.
I have many plants from other people. share seed too.
