when turning over the soil on my plot i noticed white root like lines in the soil, there's no root there but the lines look like white lime substance, any idea's?

Probably mycellium. These are the underground parts of fungi. The soil is stuffed full of them and they are very necessary for the ecosystem to work. So, nothing to worry about unless they look like black boot laces in which case.....................
