acer brilliantissimum

I have been nursing one of these small trees in a pot and now need to put it in the garden. Does anyone know if it would do well in a shady spot, with fairly minimum sun? I know some acers prefer the shade. Many thanks

I owned this tree (what a beauty) sadly I had to cut it down when we had block paving laid.
Yes it will do fine mine was in shade for a large part of the day.
This is a slow growing tree but eventuly grow quite large but not massive.
It is a joy in spring, when the leaves are young and shrimp pink the early morning when thesun shines throgh them.
