what is causing my very healthy azalea foliage to turn dust white?

I grow my azalea in a pot, after flowering this year I re-potted into a larger pot, with eracasious compost and it has turned the foliage white. What do you think has caused this?

Are you saying the leaves are actually bleached white or that there is a thick white coating on the leaves? If the latter, then its probably a fungal infestation and you should spray it with a fungicide suitable for mildew.
