I planted celery, celeriac and fennel in pots in the spring and transplanted to the boarder when about 6 inches tall. It is now end of September and both celery and celeriac and not much bigger and my fennel has leaves but no bulbs. This is the second year this has happend, where am I going wrong?

Fennel needs a long hot summer to form good bulbs so no good this year! Celeriac needs proper spacing and rich soil to form a good root,also full sun for both. Try again next year.
