I have a Sparmannia Africana to give away. It is about 2.6m tall in the pot, weighs about 25kg. As seen in the photo it has not been pruned well - I cut it down about 3 years ago, thinking it was dead - then it sprouted several new shoots. Inset is its flower last February/March. It must be kept in a conservatory or other frost-free place - else it will die. It flowers every winter, and easy to propagate from cuttings - which is what I have done; I am keeping smaller plants this year!
Please contact me if you want this lovely plant- you will have to collect it from just south of Leicester,UK.

I'll leave it on GOY for a few more days, then offer it on Freecycle.

Shame Leicstershire is so far away for most of us! Have you tried putting it on Freecycle?
