what is the best time of year to move a Hyderanger from one garden to another.

I'd move it in spring just before it starts into regrowth. But I would prune it down to the lower buds. you will not get flowers but it will have a better chance of rooting properly.

Don't forget to keep it well watered for all of next year until it gets its new root system going. Prune it back a bit if it's large.

I moved one last week, fearing I should have waited a few weeks but it looks fine at present! But it was a fairly young one - to move a maturer one I would wait until its dormant.
