If I lived in half shade all the time, I'd be shy of flowering too, especially as I love sunshine so much and my feet in something wet.
Hey, try dumping your Arum in the pond edge or a non-draining container. Don't forget to protect it in winter though. A container by burying it in the garden somewhere, or if in a pond, drop it to the bottom. You can lift it back up in the spring. Arums love permanent wet feet, with their heads in the sunshine - the more the better. Bet the thing doubles in size in one year!!!!!

Hi I also suffered the same this year as they took a beating during the winter which really knocked them back.
Previously they had both flowered lots but this year one had a few flowers on it while the other had none.
I'm putting it down to the winter.

Same here I'm afraid. Mine are not as good as usual either, I put it down to the very long winter....... cannot stress the need though for plenty of sunshine Mine are planted in a south facing garden, And being Wales well they get thier feet wet on a regular basis.....

I have a large arum lily planted in a south facing position and gets full sun all day long ( When there is sun all day ) One day in June i counted 37 flowers on it. I keep it well watered.
In the winter it turns into a soggy mess but as the weather improves it soon recovers
