Both these varieties want to get over 30 feet - if you're going to put them in pots, they'd have to be big ones, and would grow infinitely better in the ground. You should start, though by potting into a pot that's not more than 4 times the size of the one they're in, then move them up next year and progressively into the biggest pots you can find if you really want to keep them in pots.
