Hi. I grew some Knautia Macedonia from seed last year and they did nt grow very well but I planted them out anyway and they have grown on well and some are flowering now but are a bit straggley. Is this the norm, or do I pinch out the lead next year to make them bush out Thanks

enkoy the flowers. they will die back to a compact crown later in the year. next year if the weather is better they will be better plants.
