I have fungii that was introduced into my garden with some bark. how do I get rid of it, its too big an area to clear. will salt work?

You can twist off the toadstools at their base if you hate the look of them, but these are just the fruiting bodies of underground mycelium which will be all through the bark and soil. Like any other fruiting plant, the fruits will pass after a couple of weeks or so.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At the moment we have a huge mass of little brown toadstools on a shreeded wood path. I think that they look great and am enjoying them.

if its bark then rake it over to get rid of the toadstools.

Also better not use salt if you want anything else to grow on that spot.

Just leave it alone and enjoy natures gift to you. These small fungi are short lived and do no harm.
