Do all Buddleia varieties attract butterflies. I'd like to grow one of those types with orange pompom flowers.

I think the plant is called Buddleia Globosa, will it attract butterflies like the more usual pink and purple buddleias?

Certainly get plenty of the early butterflies on our B. globosa. But be warned, this shrub does grow into a very large plant indeed.
Buddleja alternifolia is also good for insects again early flowering and smaller than B. globosa.
The cross between B. glbosa and B. davidii is also a nice plant with purlple stained yellow balls, in between Bb. globosa and davidii in flowering. B. x weyeriana Sungold is the easiest one to buy.

All buddleia flowers are attractive to butterflies, particularly if in the sun, but globosa flowers earlier and this may make a difference to which, and how many, varieties of butterflies you get to see because of the earlier flowering.
