Second one is Schizostylis coccinea.

could the first one be Carnea?
second is as Owdboggy says. There are many named varieties fro deep pink to almost white.

thats because thats its last name. i think it is Reineckia carnea. Mine is just starting to flower for the first time, though the label says it is a spring flower.

i suspect the lousy weather is to blame. they've not really had a summer.
