what is this shiny leaved plant

scotland, United Kingdom

or bush? I got from a cutting a few years ago.
never noticed any flowers on it but it grows very fast.

I'm sure this is a Laurel, Usernut.

Thanks Db, had a google and that looks like the one.... except mine does,nt flower lol.

It's alright Usernut, if you leave it alone and let it carry on growing the tops will flower next May.
