Cleome & catterpillers

Once again the cabbage white catterpillers are munching their way through my cleomes, So I was wondering whether to put some on the allotment next year so that they have an alternative to my brassicas. Or would this just encourage them more? Any thoughts on this appreciated.

If they love Cleome, I'd definitely put them on the allotment - my father always grew English Marigolds to keep the blackfly off his veg - seemed to work.

How do I say thanks?
