Hi there
I planted some daff bulbs in troughs about 4-5 weeks ago and I've noticed this morning that they are already starting to break the surface. I didn't expect them to come up until next year so what can I do?

Did you plant them too shallowly? 3X their height is the normal guide for depth. You can add compost on top to shelter them over winter.

Possibly, I planted them as deep as I could in the troughs. I will definately add more compost, hopefully that will work. Thank you for answering so quickly, much appreciated.
