What is this species of fly?

swarms of these flies were hovering over wild Bilberries as my sister and I were picking them. They didn't bother us or bite us, and seem perfectly camoflaged as their heads resemble the berry and their legs resemble the flower.

St Marks Fly (Male, you can tell by the eyes), family Bibionidae....sad I know. I must get out more. I am good a pub quizzes though lol!
Common at this time of year.
