The new Camellia bush in a large pot appears to have little ants living in the soil, and they are eating the leaves.
How can I get rid of them ?
Will the old washing up water help ?

However, ants do not eat the leaves. The pest must be something else. I would drench the soil with Provado (I know, horrible nasty stuff, but it should have gone by the time the plant flowers). Be interesting to see a picture of the critters if that is at all possible.
