Thank you my friend for that . I live in Norfolk and had a very good crop of Kelsae but they dont keep long . I normally grow Turbo sets but they did not perform the last 2 years .

I don't know about the 'best' but in 2011 we grew Centurion from sets and had a huge crop - both in size and numbers. I was sure that they would not keep too well and gave a lot away and ate others quickly. I think that we ate the last ones in March or April and only found one or two going bad. That won't be an issue this year as we had a pretty poor crop!
Here in the north of Scotland we tend to grow from sets rather than seed. I believe that seed varieties are supposed to keep even longer.
