morello cherry tree

my morello cherry tree is four years old and I got about 35 pounds of cherries last year, but I think that I am harvesting it too soon (early July). Any advice ?

Doesn't this depend on when they are ripe? If you were happy with them last July, then pick them when they reach the same stage this year. It may or may not be July - depending on the weather!
