Why has my campsis not flowered?

It is a strong plant growing against an east wall facing west and its roots are protected by a fuschia and grass. Any idea would be welcome.

East wall facing west - not sunny enough - south facing wall with an open aspect would give much better results. They don't flower well even in that situation if the summer is dull and damp - they do need lots of sun, and preferably some heat.

My Campsis also has not flowered this year, and I have read somewhrer that to flower it needs constant sunshine
