Thanks for the swift reply, but I've already tried that and it seems it only allows me to change my password :(

Still waiting for some sign from the wedsite people. It's quite simple really - I just want my user name to be Merfyn - that's all.

You've lost the plot, Tulsa? What - the garden plot?

You can't change your user name - you can change your profile, your avatar (icon) and your password, but your user name you're stuck with. I know, made a mistake myself ... and am stuck with it. Don't mind now though.

oops give up merfyn and do some weeding or something to take your mind of it. just realised i've dropped the James is that ok ?

Why don't you just register again from scratch with a new user name, and let the old one pass into disuse?
I'm sure you can do this. (Although you'd lose all your pictures and history etc.) I'm surprised that whoever runs this website hasn't replied to you as I had a reply very quickly when I queried something about putting in website addresses.

Bertiefox: Thanks for the advice, but I've made too many new firends to start all over again. It took me long enough to get to where I am!

Bamboo: Damnation! It looks like I'll have to stay as Merfyn_james now.

Tulsa: Yes, yes, yes, Tulsa, I can hear you snigger from here! I do hope you're not getting wet!

To all: I love my name, but adding the surname makes it sound too officious to me, which is why I wanted to drop it. So please - just call me Merfyn!

We'll call you anything you like, Merfyn;-)

Thanks Bamboo. It says that you're a semi-retired pro gardener, but you're no good with fruit/veg! Still, I'm sure you'll be able to advice me on some things!

All true - my profile's accurate, just messed up my user name by putting in the first part of my email address in the wrong box....

1 Sep, 2009

OK Merfyn I was just going to say register again but Bertiefox got in first, why didn't I think of that first? If you do change warn us first will you !!! Oh and yes I did get wet the greenhouse door was wide open.and one of the dogs was too frightened of the thunder to come in from the garden.
