Winter-flowering honeysuckle - when to feed?

West Midlands, United Kingdom

I have four of these in pots, all doing well, all flowered in January-February. Since they are winter-flowering, when should I feed them? I've given them a weak Miracle-gro feed every fortnight or so during the summer but they are due to lose their leaves soon and I'm not sure what to do after that.

On plant Lonicera fragrantissima

After flowering so spring, i would stop feeding soon as they dont want to have new shoots growing now that may be damaged by the soon to be coming cold spells!

Perhaps try some slow release fertiliser in spring, Sprinkle on soil gently work it in a bit, then you wont have to worry about feeding them! You can get slow release for 3, or 6 months
