Help identifying a tree!

Hi
I have this tree in my back garden and I love it but haven't a clue what it is!
The tree has thin branches and forms red velvety pods at the ends. This remains for summer until sept/oct when the leaves turn stunning fire red and orange!
Any ideas?

Called a Sumach or Stagshorn tree as new growth resembles soft antlers.Lovely autumn colour but has a tendency to send out root suckers that can diminish strength of original.Latin name Rhus typhina
