my first year climbing roses are covered in white fly, I have sprayed them, but, to no effect, should I cut them right back?
Also do I cut first year Honeysuckle or just leave it?
Thank You

Try using yellow shapes covered with oil, motor or mineral oil hung from canes about the central height of the plants affected. The yellow attracts the flies and they stick to the oil.
There are pictures to help you decide how and when to prune your rose on this link. http://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/profile.aspx?pid=189
After you have sussed out how to prune your roses, use the search box on that site (top right) to find out how to prune your particular honeysuckle. Just type in "care for and prune your honeysuckle" .
