Can I move a philidelphus
suffolk, United Kingdom
Hello I have two mock oranges bushes that have been in for nearly 18 months. Both flower well but it is becoming apparent that I only needed one of them. Can I move them in the winter ?

Don't move it in winter as the ground would be too cold. Late October/early November is ideal, the plant will be dormant but the soil still warm(ish).
If you can't do it then you will probably need to wait until early spring when the ground starts warming up again..
I moved one in late October last year and it has flourished since
