We've got this indoors where it thrives, it's twice as tall now as it was when we bought it! The leaf margins are very finely serrated

It looks like a variety of Dracaena deremensis - except that does not have serrated edges to the leaves, only a slight waviness here and there.

Yes Bamboo, the leaves are wavy as well as slightly serrated. You might be right.

I can't think of anything else it might be - I've got one, but mine's variegated, and it grows in exactly the same way, even down to the odd crispy brown tip to the leaves that you've got lower down!
