Do you recognize this plant?

It was given to me as a cutting, a tiny leaf, and grew into this tall tropical looking plant, it reminds me of a banana plant but I don't think it is one. The leaves burn in direct sunlight so it needs shade, but can easily stand heat and humidity. If you have any idea what it might be, I'd love to know! Thanks!

It could be a Musa but also looks like a Heliconia - shame it's not yet flowered as that would answer the Question!

Thanks Ilex, I think it is a banana tree, because it has never flowered. I wish i did have a real garden so I could plant it, but even in a pot amazingly it is still going strong...
