A rose question

I have one container rose given to me for my birthday so I really am a rose novice. My cat had to be put to sleep recently and I thought it would be nice to have a rose in memory. His name was 'Tiger' so I found one called 'Tawny Tiger'
Would anyone know if it would be suitable to be grown in a container as i'm limited on border space. I found it on the following website. http://www.rosebuddies.com/rose248.html

I've just looked it up and it gave the ultimate height and width as 70cm so if you bought a nice terracotta pot that was about 2.5 - 3' high and wide it would go beautifully in there.

I bought such a pot last year and i can visualise a rose of this size in there easily.

Try it :)
