I have a sago palm that is growing new growth it is almost done uncurling but the color of the leaves are like a light yellow is new growth suppose to be that color?

I'm wrong, this is quite normal for Cycas revoluta (what you have). The new leaves are muck paler and unfurl just like this.
Sago Palm is one of those annoying names as it can refer to another plant quite unrelated to this that is a true member of the Palm family unlike this which is a Cycad.
