when my Lysimachia Punctata is finished flowering do i have to cut it down or prune it as this is the first year i have grew it at the moment the leaves are a beautiful pale green

If you want to move a piece to another area of the garden then you can also divide the plant now, just dig a section of it from the side of the clump and re-plant in it's new home. It increases very quickly once established.

Wait until the leaves turn brown and then cut the stems down almost to the ground. You can do this in late autumn or wait until early spring
