Can someone please identify this plant for me?

I think it must be an ivy but cannot find anything on it it my plant book.

Those indeed are Ivy flowers, beloved by Bees at this time of year and followed by black berries, loved by blackbirds followed by hundreds of Ivy seedlings all over the place.
I took photographs of over 100 types of Ivy in one of the National collections so putting a name to one is very hard.

The leaf on this looks most like Hedera hibernica, but it could be a variety of H. helix - hard to say without seeing the whole plant, really. If its hibernica, the leaves should be glossy and its a fast grower.

I will check out Hedera hibernica. I want something that it fast growing and it did have very glossy leaves. Thank you both very much for your answers.
