hi all can anybody tell me when to plant hardy bare root geraniums and to what depth ' thank you

They can be planted at any time of year when there's no frost in the ground but October-November would be my preferred months .

Agree with the above. If it is just the roots then put in horizontal, if roots with a shoot then vertical.

If they are bare rooted they should be planted now. If the ground is frozen, as it is here, then you should plant them in pots and keep in the cold frame or greenhouse until the soil softens. They should be planted so that the top of the roots are just below the surface.
